The Music Icon Embraces a Hell Version of Her Own Identity in Satirical Film Preview
Charli XCX is preparing for a significant film onslaught in 2026, kicking off with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.
Throughout the movie, she plays what she refers to as a dark version of herself.
It’s the realest depiction of the music industry that I’ve ever encountered, the performer remarked.
She elaborated in an interview: This isn’t a concert film, but the idea originated from the expectation to make one.

The mockumentary is helmed and co-scripted by the director, who shared that the narrative focuses on a reality where the singer opted for alternate decisions in the promotion of her chart-topping release Brat.
